In 2000, someone contacted NURFORC to report that he found a case in a magazine called DAP O'Day Press, about one Dan Martin who drove North at Eagle Pass, Texas, on August, 1955, at midnight, and had just passed the Nueces River when he suddenly felt his legs and arms become numb.
He quickly pulled off to the side of the road, fearing he was having a heart attack. As soon as he stopped the car, he heard a noise behind, and saw a cigar-shaped object come from behind his car. The craft came to hover 8 feet above the ground; it had no visible landing gear.
At this point Dan Martin felt compelled to get out of his car, he walked on the road, and as he came near the rear end of the craft he encountered a medium size humanoid woman who stepped out of the craft.
Dan Martin said he talked to her briefly and then got back into his car and watched the craft take off at a very sharp angle, easily clearing the nearby treetops. The object was silent, and in a matter of seconds it was gone.

The booklet is about Mr. Martin's sighting of a ufo in the late summer (August) of 1955 and his encounter wiht beignd within this object. Mr. Martin asserts that he was driving north from Eagle pass Texas and had just passed the Nueses River It was about midnight . At this point suddenly Mr. Martin's legs and arms began to feel numb, Mr Martin quickly pulled off the side of the road fearing he was having a heart attack. Mr. Martin describes a Cigar shaped craft that appeared to be hovering about 8 ft. above the ground. He could not see landing gears of any kind. At this point Mr. Martin felt compelled to get out of his car and walk across the road as he came around the back end of the object he say a medium sized humanoid woman step out of the craft. He says at this pont he had a conversation with this beign. After this breif conversation Mr. Martin got back into the car and cannot remember starting it. He watched the object take off at a very sharp angle, clearing very easily the nearby treetops. Albert Rosales comments that it is interesting that female type aliens were reported on several occasions in 1955.
The story is without credibility: it is second handedly reported via an anonymous web form decades later, the original report is not produced, there is no other trace of the case, there was certainly no investigation. The descriptions are extremely insufficient. The nature of the conversation is not known.
