After the famous incident of Kelly in Kentucky, widely publicized by the Press, there were several reports of "green men" or of "little men" in the area of Cincinnati, Ohio, several of them in the night of August 26, 1955.
For one of them, one says that a man of Cheviot called Donna Meiers to tell her that he had experienced an incident implying a "little man" about the same moment and similar to the encounter in Winton Woods.
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Cheviot, Ohio, on August 26, 1955, at night, independent witnesses reported seeing a strange little man with claw like hands in the area and in nearby communities. He had large yellow eyes and a glowing body. In some cases he was described as being green in color.

Donald Johnson indicates that on August 26, 1955, there were three reports of unusual humanoids in Ohio. A man from Cheviot, Ohio called Donna Meiers to tell her that he had experienced a similar incident involving a "little man" about the same time as the Winton Woods encounter.
