A bulletin of the ufology group APRO is said to have reported that in Petare, Venezuela, on June 10, 1955, at 2000, a family saw one oval shaped craft, or five oval shaped craft in other versions, trailing black smoke or surrounded by fog and beams of light descend and land on a hillside.
Several figures were then seen moving in the haze around the object; which then took off to the East.

Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Loren Gross, UFOs A History 1955.
Donald Johnson indicates that on June 10, 1955, in Petare, Venezuela, 5 ovoid objects descended on a hillside, emitting smoke or fog and beams of light. Figures were seen moving around inside the haze. The objects took off flying to the east.
The source is indicated as the APRO Bulletin, August 1955.
