Two recent ufology catalogues indicate that an observation took place in Montornés Valles-La Roca, Barcelona, in March 1955, by the architect Pedro Corella, 41-year-old, who at 4 p.m. noticed that his car had troubles, pulled off and lifted the hood.
He saw within 250 meters close to the river Mogent on a sown field, close to an power station and lower than the level of the road, a half-sphere surrounded by a ring, metallic gray, with two small humanoid beings inside.
After a few seconds, the UFO rose in silence on a 45° trajectory and was lost of sight, being observed by a shepherd.
When the investigators went on the location, they found slightly burned grass and the traces of a tripod.

[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that near La Roca, Spain, on March, 1955, at an unknown time, Pedro Corella, an architect, was out driving when his car stalled. While checking the engine, he saw a "gyroscope-shaped" object in a field 750 ft away; on top of it were 2 short humanoid beings. An instant later, it rose up and disappeared at an angle of 45 degrees. A farmer is said to have seen it at closer range. Traces were found.
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Antonio Ribera and Humcat 1955-2.
The observation seems to have left little traces, which is very unfortunate since it is of apparent high strangeness and could be a case with two independent witnesses. All that I could determine is that there really existed an architect named Pedro Corella in the region of Barcelona at this period.
Because there is no information about this possibility being discarded, because the description is meager, and because the craft was 250 meters away from the main witness, it is not possible to exclude that it could have been an helicopter, although traces of tripod and burned grass do not fit well with this explanation.
