Narratives:

[Ref. js1:] JEAN SIDER:

Ufologist and author Jean Sider learned in a short account from the newspaper L'Eveil du Cantal, of Aurillac, on October 30, 1954, on page 2, that in the last week of October at some unknown time in Siran in the Cantal, the Maurel widow encountered a flying saucer on the grounds of the village of "Canguetire."

The flying saucer had the shape of a large bowl and landed in a meadow. An individual all covered with hair left the machine. At the sight of Mrs. Maurel, the individual went away immediately.

Jean Sider notes that "Canguetire" is actually Longuetire.

[Ref. jb1:] JEROME BEAU:

Jerome Beau indicates that in the week of the end of October in Siran in the Cantal, Mrs. widow Maurel meets a flying saucer on the ground of the village of "Canguetire", in fact Longuetire. The flying saucer has the shape of a large bowl and was posed in a meadow. An individual all covered of hairs emerges. At the sight of Mrs. Maurel, he went almost at once.

Jérôme Beau indicates that the source is L'Eveil du Cantal, of Aurillac, for October 30, 1954, page 2, cited by Jean Sider, Le dossier 1954 et l'imposture rationaliste, Ramuel, page 222, 1997.

Jerome Beau indicates that as some CE3 cases indicate hairy creature, they go against the explanation of UFOs as alien visitors as hairy alien visitors are absurd. He indicates that according to the socio-psychological thesis, hairy UFO occupants are causes by monsters and beasts folklore, and that other thesis surch as "UFO camouflage" are not disprovable.

[Ref. oi1:] "OVNI-INFO":

This website indicates that in the Cantal, in Siran, in October 1954, a witness saw a bowl-shaped UFO, which constitutes a case without conclusion, the text given in quotation saying "At the end of the month, in the location Longuetire a woman observes an object in the shape of large bowl posed in a meadow. An entity covered of hair goes down from the UFO and seeing the witness went away immediately."

The website indicates that the source is Lumières dans la Nuit.

[Ref. lc1:] LUC CHASTAN:

Luc Chastan indicates that in the Cantal in Siran in October 1954 at an unknown hour, "At the end of the month, at the place called Longuetire a woman observes an object in the shape of large bowl land in a meadow. An entity covered of hair emerges and seeing the witness sets out again at once."

The source is noted "Lumières dans la Nuit".

[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Longuetire, Siran, Cantal, France, in late October 1954 at an unknown time, "A widow named Maurel reported encountered a landed object shaped like a large bowl on a meadow near the village of Longuetire. An individual all covered with hair left the machine. At the sight of Mrs. Maurel the individual ran back into the craft which left immediately."

The source is noted "Jean Sider".

Points to consider:

There is no investigation, a single witness, an error on the place name, no precise date, not enough information. No UFO is seen landing or taking off. The case could obviously be a confusion by a person seeing at some distance in the night someone getting off and on a car or a tent or anything else.
