In a series of articles about the French saucer flap of 1954 issued in 1993 from journalistic sources found by ufologist Jean Sider, the ufology magazine "Lumières Dans La Nuit" apparently listed that in the early days of October 1954, in the evening, in Semons, France, a farmer who remained anoymous saw saucer in his yard, and small human-looking beings making calf sounds, who entered the object, which quickly left vertically.

The data is obviously insufficient for this report probably found in some local newspaper and probably never investigated.
The occupant seems described as a normal human, "small" or "little" could to correspond to an observation distance, the description of the apparatus is insufficient, and while it is rather improbable though not impossible that a helicopter made a landing and takeoff by night in the nature in the Isère, such an explanation cannot be excluded here, nor can some car in the distance be excluded, the notions of landing and taking off being vague enough here so that it might have been as some newspapers of the time did: a simple arrival and a simple departure becomes more than that. One of the key elements here would be the observation distance, but nothing is said about it.
