One ufology source indicated that Iran evening newspaper reported that the day before, October 12, 1954, a saucer allegedly landed in the morning in a populous district of the south of Teheran, the Iranian capital. It was said to have tried to kidnap a terrified man, Ghasim Faili, who stated that when he woke up he discovered this flying saucer within 18 meters of him. The saucer is said to have emitted a magnetic force to capture Mr. Faili, but he shouted, people from the neighbors gathered, forcing the pilot of the apparatus to take off.
Other, later, ufology sources indicate that it occurred in Amireah street and talk of the flying saucer pilot as being dressed in black and equipped with a mask with a protrusion like an elephant's trunk, and the saucer is described a white and luminous, hovering at 20 meters from the witness who was gripping the bar of his 2nd floor balcony as he felt attracted to the saucer like a magnet. The date and witness name became confused. There was no investigation from anyone.

[Ref. jg1:] JIMMY GUIEU:
The author indicates that on October 12, 1954, in Teheran, Iran, it is "told" that it supposedly" occurred [quotation marks and italics by the author] an alarming event reported in the evening paper of Teheran, Etellat, for October 13, that published the story without any further comments.
The author quotes the text of this newspaper article:
"A saucer allegedly landed yesterday morning in the Iranian capital where it was said to have tried to kidnap a terrified Earthman. The latter, a certain Ghasim Faili, stated that when he woke up he discovered the saucer within 18 meters of him, posed in the middle of the street in a populous district of the south of Teheran. Emitting a magnetic force, the flying saucer tried to attract him on board, but with his shouting the Earthman gathered the neighbors, forcing the pilot of the apparatus to take off."
Jimmy Guieu notes that he failed to obtain either a confirmation or a denial of this "current news" piece.
[Ref. jv1:] JACQUES VALLEE:
Jacques Vallée indicates that on October 12, 1954, in Teheran, Iran, a disc-shaped object approached very near to the ground in a populated area.
Chasim Faili, one of those who observed the event, yelled when he thought that it was going to be "kidnapped". A gathered and the apparatus flew away.
The report continued with a description of the operator of the craft, of which it is said that he was small and dressed in black.
Vallée indicates no sources.
[Ref. jv1:] JACQUES VALLEE:
In his catalogue of UFO landings, Jacques Vallée indicates that on October 8, 1954 at 02:30 a.m., in Teheran, Iran, Ghaseme Fili, of Amireah Street, was on the second floor of his house when he saw a luminous, white flying object stop in mid-air 20 meters away.
Lights were shining from the rear and the sides of the craft, inside which could be seen a small man dressed in black, wearing a mask with a trunk like an elephant.
"I was standing with both hands on the bar of my balcony, looking with astonishment at this strange object, when I suddenly felt as though I were being drawn up toward the object by a magnet."
Mr. Fili cried out in terror and woke up his neighbors. The object shot straight up, emitting sparks, and it was lost to sight almost immediately.
Vallée indicates that his source is "52, 58"
[Ref. pr1:] PETER ROGERSON:
The author writes that the earliest report of an abduction attempt so far is in L'Aurore for September 12, 1954.
It reports that one Mr. Fili of Tehran was on the balcony of the second floor of his house when he saw a luminous object hovering 20 meters away, with a small man inside, dressed in black and with a trunk like an elephant's.
Fili felt magnetically drawn towards the object, but when he screamed it broke the spell, and the object took off.
The author indicates that his sources are Jacques Vallée in Passport to Magonia, Regneray [Regnery], 1969, in the appendix: "A Century of UFO Landings", case 211, and Gordon Creighton, "Attempted Abduction by UFO Entity", in FSR, 13,2, March-April 1967, pp 23-24, quoting the Iranian newspaper Ettela of October 15, 1954.
[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Tehran, Iran, on October 8, 1954, at 02:30 a.m., Ghaseme Fili saw a luminous white flying object that stopped about 20 meters away.
Inside it he could see a small man dressed in black clothing and wearing on his head a mask shaped like an elephant's trunk. Then Fili "felt as though I were being drawn up to the object, as though by a magnet." He cried out in terror, and the object shot straight upward, emitting sparks.
Albert Rosales indicates that his source is FSR Vol. 13 #2.
[Ref. lg1:] LUIS R. GONZALES MANSO:
Luis R. Gonzalez Manso notes in his FirstHumCat catalogue that on 8 October 1954, in Teheran, Iran, at 02:30, Ghaseme Fili, of Amireah Street, was on the second floor of his house when he saw a luminous, white flying object stop in mid-air 20 m away. Lights were shining from the rear and the sides of the craft, inside which could be seen a small man dressed in black, wearing a mask with a trunk like an elephant. Luis Gonzales quotes:
"I was standing with both hands on the bar of my balcony, looking with astonishment at this strange object, when I suddenly felt as though I were being drawn up toward the object by a magnet."
Mr. Fili cried out in terror and woke up his neighbors. The object shot straight up, emitting sparks, and it was lost to sight almost immediately.
Luis Gonzales indicates that his sources are the MAGONIA Catalogue case 211 [Vallée], Ettela'at for October 15, 1954 and L'Aurore for October 13, 1954.
The story seems to amount only to one or possibly two newspaper meager stories reported second-handedly with no follow-up investigation; which is regrettable as - if the report is taken at face value - a multiple-witness event occurred.
