JULY 1952, POINT DEFIANCE PARK, WASHINGTON, USA, 9 YEARS OLD CHILD:
Brief summary of the event and follow-up:
A ufology bulletin of 1988 has a text about an experience in July 1952 at 9 p.m., in Point Defiance Park, by a 9 years old child who saw a yellowish white light in the sky moving back and forth. He could remember seeing many small beings that seemed to be talking in an unknown language, and felt like he was in a white room, sitting on a stool. He remembers arriving home at 11 p.m.
Albert Rosales indicates that according to a Nick H. Edwards text in the CUFORN Bulletin for November/December 1988, in July 1952 at 9 p.m., in Point Defiance Park, a witness aged 9 saw a yellowish white light in the sky moving back and forth. He could remember seeing many small beings that seemed to be talking in an unknown language. He felt like he was in a white room and sitting on a stool, and remember arriving home at 11 p.m., and there is no other information than those.
Points to consider:
CUFORN was a ufology group, Canadian UFO Research Network, a non-profit organization started in Ontario in December 1977. It is possible, but I do not know, that this case reported in 1988 for an experience dated 1952 results from hypnotic regression sessions supposed to recover lost memories, and not from conscious memories. This point being unknown, I would not go further than to note the case as it stands without assigning any particular reliability in the story. Of course I could be completely wrong, and I welcome any additional information.
Point Defiance Park is nowadays a 702-acre park, near Tacoma, a popular destination for amateurs of natural forest, saltwater beaches and spectacular views.
