Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

According to Albert Rosales' CE3 catalog circa 2009, the ufology group GEPUC of Brazil recorded a case in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, at night in 1947.

Witnesses reportedly saw a low flying luminous triangular shaped craft. Inside what appeared to be a cabin, several moving figures were seen.

Rosales says that around the same time there is was an undocumented reported of a UFO landing and contact with is occupants in a place called Bom Sucesso.

In 1974, ufologist Jader U. Pereira had listed a case in Bonsucesso, Brazil, in 1947. And circa 2008, a website listed the case, without details, saying that there were more than two witnesses and giving one witness name as "Rego".

Points to consider:

Bonsucesso is a neighborhood in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. GEPUC was a ufology group in Brazil. Unfortunately I did not find more information so far; which lets me with an insufficiently documented case with all possible explanations.
