A ufology catalogue reports circa 2003 that according to the French ufologists Joel Mesnard and Jean Marie Bigorne, in Prouvy, France, in 1942, at 01:00 a.m., a woman returning home by the garden found herself face to face with three entities of small size. In the moonlight, she very distinctly saw that they were not children.
Their head was large and round and the three wore a short beard. The eyes were broad and luminous, of yellow color, and they were dressed with a combination of only one piece, brilliant, of metallic appearance. A hood continued the clothing so that only the face was uncovered.
They were slightly spaced one from the other, with their arms slightly folded and rigid. The frightened woman entered her house, alerted her husband, but the time that he came out there was nothing anymore.

[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales reports that in Prouvy, France, in 1942, at 01:00 a.m., a woman returning home by the garden found herself face to face with three entities of small size.
Rosales indicates as source the French ufologists Joel Mesnard and Jean Marie Bigorne.
[Ref. js1:] JEAN SIDER:
The author indicates that in 1942 at 01:00, in Prouvy, Nord, France, going down in her garden towards one o'clock in the morning, a lady found herself face to face with three dwarfs that the moonlight allowed her to distinguish clearly.
She described these details: big round heads, big eyes that look bright, dark but shiny outfit.
She ran away calling her husband, but when he decided to bother to see what he was going on, there was nothing to contemplate.
Jean Sider indicates that the source is a communication by Joel Mesnard, who quotes an investigation by Jean-Marie Bigorne.
He comments that it is not clear why the witness felt the need to go out at such an hour; that curiously, in the end of September, 1954, also in Prouvy, MM. Roger Leroy and Auguste Lemaire saw a UFO very close to the ground, in the shape of a glossy white oval surmounted by a small transparent dome in which dark silhouettes moved, according to an ibvestigation also made by Jean-Marie Bigorne, in LDLN #371, p. 11. He wonders if this is really mere coincidence.
[Ref. jg1:] JULIEN GONZALEZ:
The author indicates that in Prouvy, Nord, in 1942, at 01:00, Mrs. X., whose name is known to the investigators, returned home by the garden when she found herself face to face with three small entities of 1.20 meters.
Thanks to the moonlight she could see very clearly that they were not children. Their heads were broad and round, and the three wore a sort of short beard. Their eyes were wide, bright and yellow in color. They were dressed in a one-piece, shiny, metallic-looking jumpsuit, with a hood continuing the garment so that only the face was uncovered.
They were slightly spaced from each other. The arms were slightly bent and rigid. The woman, frightened, entered her house, alerted her husband, but by the time he got out, there was nothing left.
Julien Gonzalez indicates that the source is "List of cases of humanoid observation by Albert Rosales (http://ufoinfo.com/humanoid/index.shtml) quoting Joel Mesnard and Jean-Marie Bigorne."
[Ref. jd1:] JEAN-PIERRE D'HONDT:
The author cites the case cmme being of high content of strangeness, having taken place in 1942 in Prouvy in the Nord, oc CE3, PAN D ytpe, with as source the book of "J. Sider, Les extraterrestres avant les soucoupes volantes, p. 353."
He says a woman was returning home at about 1 a.m. by the garden when she came face to face with three small entities.
With the moonlight she could see very clearly that it was not children. Their heads were broad and round, and all three wore short beards. The eyes were wide and bright yellow in color. They were dressed in a one-piece, shiny metallic-looking suit. A hood continued the garment so that only the face was uncovered. They were slightly spaced from each other. The arms are slightly bent and rigid.
The frightened woman came into her house, warned her husband, but by the time he got out, there was nothing left.
Although the case seems of high strangeness, the unicity of the witness, the lack of information on her profile, the lack of information of investigators, hardly make it possible to grant much credence to the old account, probably reported very late.
