In 1910, or 1939, depending on the meager sources, in Chevroux, the hamlet of Boisey in the Ain, France, one Mr. Perret was allegedly crossing a wood to meet friends, when he felt a presence behind him.
Looking back, he allegedly saw a 3 meters tall human silhouette moving towards him.
He was panicked and fled. The next day, he came back on the spot but found no trace.
The story is said to come from the issue of a sensationnalist magazine of 1975.
