Ufologist Jacques Vallée brought back from a trip in the Soviet Union a story according to which in the province of Nizhegorodskaya, in Russia, in 1933, by night, Alexander V. Zolotov, who later became a scientist, then seven years old, met a strange humanoid.
Zolotov was reportedly alone in his room when the being suddenly appeared. It is described as a humanoid of average size with a high forehead, a head three times larger than the normal, big pointed ears, large penetrating and intelligent eyes, looking aged and lacking emotion, and a wrinkled skin. It had no mask or breathing apparatus.
The humanoid reportedly was on all four and jumped around like a frog, approximately 7 meters from Zolotov.
The child reportedly ran out of the room and did not see how the being left.
The story is also dated 1935 and is located in the area of Gorkovskaya, or "in Kalinin in Turkey ".

(Chris Aubeck – see 1930, Barcelona) Ribera's story always reminds me of one told by Professor Alexis Zolotov, of the Geophysic Institute in Kalinin, Russia, about the day he saw a humanoid at the age of seven, in 1933. The being, which appeared very suddenly in his house, had a high cranium and wore "no mask or breathing apparatus." It was as tall as an adult human but "his head was three times larger than human's" and it also had pointed ears. Its face was wrinkled, its eyes conveying "great intelligence and lack of emotion. He had the look of a very old man." The boy ran away. When asked in 1990 whether he had kept his encounter a secret at the time, he answered that he did tell his parents about it. Professor Alexis Zolotov was a geologist, member of the Russian Academy of Science, who leader of the 1959 expedition to the Tunguska site where a "UFO", or a comet, exploded in 1908.
He said about it: "The Tunguska explosion took place in the air. There exists only two possibilities for such an explosion. Either it came from an internal energy source in the body, or the natural energy by its movement. I believe it was a nuclear explosion from an artificially made object...There is certainly some new type of radiation here. The explosion of a cosmic body has produced this new type of radiation field on the ground, at the center of the blast."
The book "Ufologie en Russie", by Russian ufologist Boris Shurinov, explains at length how Jacques Vallée was fed tall stories by Russian sensationalists ufologists he visited.
