1933, VALLEY OF THE DEAD, YAKUTIA, RUSSIA, AN OLD NOMAD:
Brief summary of the event and follow-up:
Russian UFO writer Valeriy Uvarov reportedly told that near Mirny, Yakutia, Russia, in 1933, at an unknown time, in the "Valley of the Dead", an elderly nomad reported entering "a metallic cave" here he encountered very thin, one-eyed men in metallic clothing.
Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that near Mirny, Yakutia, Russia, in 1933, at an unknown time, "in an isolated area called 'The Valley of the Dead' an elderly nomad reported entering 'a metallic cave' here he encountered very thin, one-eyed men in metallic clothing. No other information."
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is Valeriy Uvarov, FSR Vol. 42 # 1.
Points to consider:
Valery Uvarov introduced himself in 2003 to UFO Magazine as the chief of the scientific and technical information and research center on UFOs of the National Security Academy, based in St. Petersbourg, in Russia, reporting on their discoveries directly to president Putin.
He wrote many articles in sensationalists magazine like Nexus, defends the thesis of the "Ancient Astronauts". He carried out expeditions in the area of Tunguska and interprets the aerial explosion in this area in 1908 as that of an asteroid which was intercepted and destroyed by an extraterrestrial ship.
This story forms part of numerous alleged stories that he says come from people in Yakutia, in the zone of the Tunguska explosion. The "isolated sector called the Valley of the Dead" is in this zone.
