Various authors report, without citing a primary source, that in October 1932, in Canada, five young people were going to visit relatives in Joliette, and when at about 7:00 p.m., they approached the entrance of the city, they saw a character, almost 3-meters-tall, who was crossing a nearby cemetery. IT was dressed in a white outfit and was walking at a good pace. Panicking, the driver of the car accelerated - or the car skidded, depending on the version - immediately, while the being had arrived within 2 meters of the vehicle, not seeming preoccupied by their presence.
The richest version I found is by U-K, ufologist Peter Rogersons, and it is similar, except that the giant was 2.7 meters tall, walked uprightly and regularly across the cemetery, reached the road at about the same time as the car, strode over the cemetery enclosure: which was 1.05m high, but which only reached half way up the giant’s leg. The being wore a white overall and gloves of a similar texture. The witnesses could not see his face, as the terrified driver accelerated away from the being which was only 1.8 meters from the car. The being crossed the road without stopping in a manner which they compared to an astronaut on the moon. The witnesses were sure that the being was too well proportioned to be a hoaxer on stilts.

Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Joliette Quebec, Canada, on October 1932, at 06:00 p.m., "Five witnesses saw a giant eight-foot tall man dressed in white that appeared to be walking in slow motion like the modern "astronauts" on the moon. The witnesses drove by the entity in a car and left the area without stopping."

October 1932. 1900hrs.JOLIETTE (QUEBEC : CANADA) Five people in a car driving to their parents’ house in Joliette saw, close to the cemetery at the entrance of the town, a giant 2.7m tall who walked uprightly and regularly. He walked across the cemetery and reached the road at about the same time as the car, striding over the enclosure, which was 1.05m high, but which only reached half way up the giant’s leg. I first wrote "There is too little information for me to tell anything of use about this alleged encounter" but with the information from Peter Rogerson [pr1] the case looks much better.
