1932, Los Angeles, California, USA, Elizabeth Henderson and her father:
Brief summary of the event and follow-up:
A "ghost story" from FATE magazine in 1973 was picked up in a "ghost stories" book by Hillary Evans in 2002, then included in British skeptical ufologist Peter Rogerson's INTCAT catalogue.
It seemed that from a letter in FATE, in 1932, by night, in Los Angeles, California, USA, one Elizabeth Henderson and her father "both saw a robed and hooded figure, surrounded by a sort of smoke. There were no facial features visible but it gave the impression of staring at them and giving off a feeling of great sorrow. They both ran outside. Regarded as an omen of Elizabeth’s grandfather’s death."

Points to consider:
Unfortunately I do not have yet the primary source, Fate magazine for November 1973 - except for its cover:
This has, firstly, likely nothing to do with UFO occupants, secondly, no available primary source or reliable second-hand source, and thirdly, the primary source is probably not credible either as it seems it is only a letter to a sensation magazine.
