Australian ufologist Bill Chalker reports that in September 1993 he had discussed with John Kernott, a postman in the Kimberleys, Western Australia, who had many stories told by the aborigines.
Around 1989, John's father-in-law, an aboriginal, told him that when he was a young man in the 1930s he camped with a group of aborigines before the white man deported them from their land, when they saw a green light spinning in the sky.
This light landed behind trees, and a large number of "little men shining with green light" came. They walked around the aborigines, watched them, then returned to their craft; which then took off.

It landed behind trees. Lots of little men shining with green light came. They walked around the aborigines, looking at them, and then walked back to the UFO, which then took off. Albert Rosales indicates in his catalogue that in Central Desert, Western Australia, in 1930, at an unknown time, "An aboriginal man remembered camping with his tribe when they saw a green light spinning around in the sky. It landed behind some trees. Soon, lots of little men shining with green light came out from the trees. They walked around the tribe, looking at the witnesses, and then walked back to the object, which then took off."

[Ref. js1:] JEAN SIDER:
The author indicates that in 1930 perhaps, at an unknown date, in Central Desert, Kimberley, western Australia, there was a close encounter of the third kind.
He indicates that an aboriginal witness, who happened to be the father-in-law of a postman named John Kernott, told one day to the latter an observation made as a child, "in the 1930s" in his own words; which leaves a range of ten years to date the incident exactly in time.
He indicates that the witness was with his tribe in a camp in the middle of nature, and at the time the white people had not yet hunted all its members, who rightly considered this place as their property. The whole tribe suddenly saw a green light circling in the sky; which landed on the ground behind some trees.
Many glowing little men carrying green lights appeared, and walked around the tribe as they gazed at them, then returned to their craft and departed.
Jean Sider comments that there are no other details cited in the source, "Chalker 1, p.22, according to testimony obtained from John Kernott."
Jean Sider comments that there is another Australian case in 1933, which could explain this one.
