Brief summary of the event and follow-up:

In one of his books, sensation author J.J. Benitez reportedly told that in Las Hurdes, Spain, in 1913, in the evening, a peasant walking along a local valley called "Valle De Sapu" found his way blocked by a short stocky little man wearing dark tight-fitting leather-like outfit.

For a few moments, both witness and humanoid stared at each other, then the witness attempted to walk by but was prevented from doing so each time by the little man that would block his path.

Soon a struggle ensued and the witness felt the humanoid's skin and noticed that it was very rough and cold.

At one point the witness managed to hit the humanoid on the head with a large piece of hard bread. The being then stepped back and shot upwards inside a beam of light and into a large circular "moon-like object".

The author indicates that in 1913, in the evening, in Las Hurdes, Spain, a farmer walking along a local valley called Valle de Sapu suddenly sees his walk interrupted by a solid little man wearing a kind of sticky leather outfit, which bars the passage. They observe one another calmly for a short while, and then the witness tries to move but the dwarf beckoned him not to do that and remained like an obstacle before him. The irritated farmer grabs the being and notices that it is harsh and cold. The witness struck the being on the head with a bread he was carrying, the entity moves back then jumps into a light beam which leads to a round moon-like object.

Points to consider:

The case seems extraordinary, but it comes from a book by J.J. Benitez classified by a number of Spanish ufologist as "Facts-Fictions", a book that mixes reality and fantasy, full of stories like this one that have no corroboration elsewhere. And there is no "Valle de Sapu" in the area of ?Las Hurdes, the only known Sapu Valley is San Salvador...
