Ufologist of the East of France, Raoul Robé said that a resident of the village of Bouxières-aux-Dames, Meurthe-et-Moselle, biologist member of the Academy of Sciences of Nancy, remembered, although being a child at the time of the 1909 night events, the landing of a craft, the observation of human figures around it, on the "Chemin des Corvées."
Many curious people, including his future wife, had come to see the traces left by the craft, which was then interpreted as coming from the moon.
Robé notes that very little has been received on this case since the local archives were destroyed during the last war, and that his source is a GPUN investigation of February 1979.
Albert Rosale learned that the biologist was Narcisse Cezard, who was walking along a wooded path when he spotted the unknown object landing on a terrain. He would have seen several anthropomorphic figures, or silhouettes, moving around the object.

SUMMARY OF THE OBSERVATIONSCP = PEREIRA CLASSIFICATION - T = TYPE - V = VARIANT - TNH = NON HUMAN TYPE Case Nr 2 In 1909 in Bouxières-aux-Dames (54) An inhabitant of the village (biologist member of the Nancy Academy of Sciences) remembers, although a child at the time of the facts, the landing of a craft, with traces and observation of human silhouettes around it on the "Chemin des Corvées." Many curious people (including his future wife) had come to see the traces, and it was talked about a craft coming... from the moon! Very little has come to light on this case, since the local archives were destroyed during the last war. (Ref.: GPUN investigation of February 1979). |
[Ref. ar1:] ALBERT ROSALES:
Albert Rosales indicates that in Bauxieres-aux-Dames [sic], France, in 1909 at night "A local inhabitant of the village, biologist M Narcisse Cezard was walking along a wooded path when he spotted an unknown object landing on a field. Several humanlike figures or silhouettes were seen moving around the object. No other information."
Albert Rosales indicates that the source is "Raoul Robe, Catalogue Regional".
[Ref. jg1:] JULIEN GONZALEZ:
He says that a resident of the village who is a member of the Nancy Academy of Sciences remembers well though he was a child at the time of the facts, the landing of a craft with traces and observation of human figures around it on the "Chemin des Corvées."
Many curious people, including his future wife, had come to see the traces, and talked of a craft that came from the Moon.
Gonzalez indicates that very little is known about the case because the local archives had been destroyed during the last war.
He indicates that the source is a GPUN investigation in "Lumières Dans La Nuit" #267-268 en page 39.
All that I could find is that one Narcisse Cézard indeed existed, a biologist, from Lorraine, who was a member of the Academy and the Society of Sciences of Lorraine, and is now deceased.
