British ufologist Peter Rogerson noted in his CE3 catalog that on December 24, 1909, at night, in Quinsigamond, Massachusetts, USA, at the same time as a mysterious aerial object was reported over New England, Ernest Anderson was walking in the woods near Malvern Road when he encountered a 2-meter-tall figure.
He said: "I could see its white gown, and, shining through it, the thin bones of a human skeleton."
Rogerson says the apparition had been seen a few days earlier by Emmanuel Johnson, and gives as source the Flying Saucer Observer #15 page 6 citing The Worcester Daily Telegraph for December 25, 1909.
Albert Rosales gives the same story but dated December 21, 1909.

The relationship with the alleged observation of a "mysterious aerial object" - in New England, far from Worcester - is obviously tenuous. The narrative is very meager, and makes me think of a ghost story rather than an encounter with an extraterrestrial.
In the absence of a primary source that may be more informative, I cannot form an opinion.
