Similar to many others all over the world, but the first born in Spain, we publicly introduce the "CENTER FOR INTERPLANETARY STUDIES" whose fundamental goal is to group and, as far as possible, to direct as much as sensitizing our contemporaries to concerns that worry us, with an interest which exceeds simple curiosity, the question which, without any doubt, has to become the most important and transcendent questions put to Humanity: how and when the men of the Earth will come in contact with other intelligences of all these worlds which, like ours, wander through Space, and what will be the consequences that such an adventure will bring to us, for our fortune or our misfortune. This subject whose vital importance grows as time passes and that - in certain areas and for very complex reasons - is surrounded of a silence that must be broken quickly, not only for the benefit of the truth, but especially because of the consequences, perhaps dramatic, that in the long or the short term - perhaps very short, perhaps imminent - that such an indifference could cost us.
Whereas we start to explore the paths that will one day carry us far from our Planet, we have discovered - unpleasant surprise for our pride and one so often rejected - that these paths in the sky are already used for a long time, but in the contrary direction with that we would like: it is them who come from mysterious and huge distances to explore the Earth. This is going on since centuries, perhaps of the millennia, however nobody, in our world, appears to have realized that until now. But this should not surprise us: nowadays, whereas the evidence of their reality is already shattering, a vast majority of people cannot be regarded as informed about it.
WE do not claim to convince the skeptics nor, even less, to start useless polemic during which they refuse to see, calmly and objectively, what is going on around us. However, we will expose, to justify our opinions - shared, by the way, by many personalities of indisputable credential in all countries - the more so as we state that they are the pure consequences of facts. And not observed just on some occasions, but on innumerable occasions, by all kinds of witnesses in all kinds of conditions: we are based on approximately five thousand "reports" filed in the Investigation Centers - official and private - of the United States, of France, of Italy, of Brazil, of Belgium, of England, of Japan, etc., who, since years, are studying the "unidentified flying objects" - improperly called "flying saucers", since although in their majority they "fly", only some, by their shape, can be associated to the notion of "Saucer" - an enormous documentation which strictly refers to the unquestionable, genuine appearances, and without possible natural explanation, of perhaps of 30.000 among a much bigger total.

only a little more than 15% were accepted as valid. Let us point out that this figure is minimal, it is probable that it is there more exactly the double.
WE, convinced enemy of sensationalism, well aware of the fatal consequences of wild imagination, have as first standard in our speculations to make so that they are controlled by the maximum scientific rigor to where Science can accompany them. Further, we grant to creative imagination all the enormous value that history of the human knowledge credits it by showing that on several opportunities scientist did not do anything more than follow the traces which had been opened before them by brilliant poets and some visionaries. But we always avoid confusing fiction with reality, by making a point not to present as proven truth what is only imagination.
WE believe that we are going fast to a crisis to unforeseeable consequences in the events which have their origin in outer space, which developed since years in the vicinity of our Planet, and that it is now urgent to alert all the Mankind of the Earth. Not only because of the events themselves, but especially because of the major bonds which they have through inextricable relations thrown by the Destiny with the major causes of the vast historical commotions of our time.
To attenuate as much as possible the consequence of this enormous collective "shock" which would be caused by the brutal irruption in our world, unprepared and almost completely helpless, of beings from another Planet, - a commotion which, per se, could be the cause of evils worse than those that the "invaders" could cause - we press urge that, in addition to a vast research program, a campaign of general disclosure is started, to expose in a realistic manner the truth of the event we face and the frightening events that terrestrial mankind could be forced to face some day. Regarding as a duty to collaborate in that - or to initiate it, if nobody does it - we affirm publicly, summarized, our positions:
THAT spaceship arrive on the Earth at an ever increasing rate since the year 1946. Sticking to the minimal figures of the solid observations, we can count approximately 200 raids observed in the two years 1946-47, 400 from 1948 to 1949, 500 from 1950 to 1951, 900 from 1952 to 1953, 1000 from 1954 to 1955, 1100 from 1956 to 1957.
THAT the proven rate of the appearances indicates as probable place of origin the planet Mars, including as supports in their operations certain bases in certain areas of the Moon. Moreover, it seems there exists other outposts, in particular a center turning around us in satellites orbits.
THAT their raids were started many centuries ago, or even to the very beginnings of the human History. However their activity was never as intense than it is currently, as if we approach the result and the outcome of a long systematical and tactical exploration and monitoring. That during such a long time we had at our sides of mysterious spacecraft without them showing, as far as we know, any intention to intervene in the course of the terrestrial affairs, does not guarantee at all that this absence of intervention must be indefinite: it only shows that they wait their hour with infinite patience.

THAT nothing indicates either, with regard to their problematic attitude towards us, who until now did not engage in any openly hostile action; also, on the other hand, we did not receive from "them" either one single friendly demonstration. On this ground, all is dubious and any assumption put forth about their plans and their goals would be risky because it is impossible to guess what logic is dictating their actions of minds that perhaps function in a way very different from ours. The only unquestionable thing is that these minds exist, sneaking around the borders of the Earth, and monitoring us.
The problems that this strange and tough presence poses to us are so numerous and unusual that nobody can be so daring as to claim to solve them alone. It is the task of many people and a question of much time, perhaps so much so that our generation might not see the solution of the enigma. Conscious of the implications and complexity, we decided to leave the private circle where we developed until now our research to call upon all, by requesting the assistance. For several years, we have been in contact with various foreign Research centers - the "C.I.E.O." in France, "C. I. R. N. O. S." in Italy, etc. -, similar to the one we inaugurate today in our country, contacts that, henceforth, we will intensify on our collective behalf, making them more profitable. But this is not sufficient. We need DIRECT information; this is why now, in our premises, by doing what they did and trustful in the same success - we ask all those who were witnesses of any nonidentifiable aerial display or of any phenomenon or abnormal object, to report it to us - whether they share our opinions or not; likewise if interested in our research or if they are indifferent to them - with the greatest accuracy, speed, and all details possible, by answering the attached Form of Investigation facsimile.
This "Interplanetary" is born in the first hours of the rise of a new Era, whereas darkness still reigns and all is confusion, to be set as an observation tower, perhaps also someday a castle, from where the first gleams of an unknown era will be discovered; which thousand symptoms announce as already imminent; a rising of such as strange new day that, instead of rising to the past, it will this time fall on us from the skies, brought by "them" and their ghastly ship. To survey and try to know them as much as possible about their existence and the reason which brought them is what we propose, a task that we will share, thanking them, ith all our objectives, those who will offer their collaboration to us. Goals whose final objective is to discover and let know to all how and according to which tactic we will have to face the exceptional occurrences that will rush the day when these spaceships will decide to leave their nests in space to intervene openly in the course of our History, thus starting an unprecedented crisis with huge consequences.

We ask whoever is witness of appearance of a certain "nonidentifiable flying object" or of any unexplainable display, to report it to the "CENTER FOR INTERPLANETARY STUDIES", by answering the questions detailed below and by sending it to P.0. box 1015, Barcelona, or call us by telephone, at numbers 28.56.36 and 37.53 83.
1.° Place, Day and Time of the observation.
2.° Number of witnesses (indicate the number and the identification of all).
3.° state of the sky and visibility.
4.° Position of the Sun and the Moon relative to the observed object.
5.° Elevation above the horizon and direction of appearance and disappearance.
6.° Estimated altitude an speed (in comparaison with those of normal planes).
7.° Number of objects and maneuvers they performed (changes of direction, of speed, and of height. Immobilisations, landings, etc.).
8.° Time the observation lasted and angle crossed by the object.
9.° Shape and general appearance of the object (metallic, solid, undefined, etc.).
10.° Dimensions (compared to that of the moon's disc).
11.° Color and shine (indicate changes).
12.° Shape, length, color, brillance and changes of the trail, if there was one.
13.° Were perturbations of the functions of certain electrical systems observed on their passage? (radios, lights, engines, etc.).
14.° Were magnetic perturbations observed (in compasses).
15.° Did it leave a certain material evidence of its passage or did it produce some trace?
16.° Detailed description of all the circumstances in which the event occurred. Include a sketch of the object.
Name, identities, profession of the reporter, indicating if he authorizes a possible publishing of his report and, in the affirmative, if he authorizes that his name is quoted. We guarantee an absolute anonymity, if desired.

Semejante a otros muchos dispersos por todo el orbe, pero primero que sale a la luz en España, presentamos públicamente el "CENTRO DE ESTUDIOS INTERPLANETARIOS" con el fundamental propósito de agrupar y, en la medida de nuestras fuerzas, orientar a cuantos siendo sensibles a las inquietudes contemporáneas se preocupan con un interés que rebase la mera curiosidad, por lo que, .sin ninguna duda, está llamada a ser la más vasta y transcendental de las cuestiones planteadas a la Humanidad: como y cuando los hombres de la Tierra entraremos en relación con otras inteligencias procedentes de cualquiera de los mundos que, junto al nuestro, ruedan por el Espacio, y cuales serán las consecuencias que para nuestra suerte o nuestra desdicha tal aventura habrá, de traernos. Tema cuya vital importancia crece a medida que el tiempo transcurre y a cual - en determinados sectores y por muy complejas razones - se le ha hecho un vacío que es preciso cubrir rápidamente, no solo en beneficio de la verdad, sino sobre todo por las consecuencias, acaso dramáticas, que a largo o corto plazo - quizá muy corto, tal vez inminente - tal indiferencia podría acarrearnos.
Cuando nosotros estamos comenzando a buscar las rutas que un día habrían de llevarnos lejos de nuestro Planeta, nos hemos encontrado - desagradable sorpresa para nuestro orgullo y que tantos tan ciegamente se resisten a aceptar - con que esos caminos ya están trazados en el estrellado cielo desde hace mucho tiempo, solo que en sentido contrario al que quisiéramos: vienen desde misteriosas e inmensas lejanías en busca de la Tierra. Existen desde hace siglos, quizás milenios, sólo que casi nadie, en nuestro mundo, parece haberlo sabido hasta ahora. Mas ésto nada debe asombrarnos: hoy, cuando las pruebas de su realidad son ya abrumadoras, todavía una gran mayoría sigue sin querer darse por enterada.
NOSOTROS no pretendemos convencer a escépticos ni, menos aún, entablar estériles polémicas con quienes se niegan a ver, serena y objetivamente, lo que a su alrededor sucede. No obstante, bueno será hacer constar, para justificar nuestras opiniones - compartidas, por lo demás, con numerosas personalidades de incuestionable solvencia de todos los paises - que cuanto afirmamos son puras consecuencias de hechos observados. Y observados no unas cuantas veces, sino innumerables, por toda clase de testigos en toda suerte de condiciones: se apoyan en cerca de cinco mil "rapports" archivados en los Centros de Encuesta - oficiales y privados - de los Estados Unidos, Francia, Italia, Brasil, Bélgica, Inglaterra, Japón, etc., dedicados, desde hace años, al estudio de los "objetos volantes no identificados" - impropiamente llanados "platillos volantes", pues si bien en su mayoría son "volantes", solo algunos, por su forma, pueden asociarse a la idea de "Platillo" - ingente documentación que se refiere estrictamente a las apariciones evidentes, auténticas y sin explicación normal posible, extraídas de un total mucho mayor, de tal vez 30.000 testimonios cribadoss tan cuidadosamente y con un criterio tan escéptico que

sólo poco más del 15 % fueron aceptados como válidos. Hagamos notar que las cifras son mínimas, siendo probable que fuera más exacto duplicarlas.
NOSOTROS, enemigos convencidos del sensacionalismo, conociendo bien las fatales consecuencias de la fantas'ía desenfrenada, tenemos como primera norma en nuestras especulaciones hacer que estén regidas por el máximo rigor cientifico hasta allí donde la Ciencia pueda acompañarlas. Más allá concedemos a la imaginación creadora todo el enorme valor que la historia del saber humano le acredita al mostrar cuantas veces los sabios no hicieron más que seguir las huellas que por delante de ellos fueron dejando los poetas y algunos geniales visionarios. Pero siempre evitamos confundir la ficción con la realidad, poniendo todo nuestro empeño en jamás presentar como verdad probada lo que sólo sean fantasías.
NOSOTROS creemos que nos estamos aproximando rápidamente a una crisis de consecuencias inprevisibles en los acontecimientos que teniendo su punto de partida en el espacio exterior, vienen desarrollándose desde hace años en el ámbito de nuestro Planeta, y que es ya inaplazable lanzar una llamada de alerta a toda la Humanidad terrestre. No sólo por los sucesos en sí, sino sobre todo por las profundas relaciones que ellos tienen a través de inextricables enlaces urdidos por el Destino con las raíces de las vastas conmociones históricas de nuestro tiempo.
Para amortiguar en lo posible los ejectos del tremendo "shock" colectivo que provocaría la brusca irrupción en nuestro mundo, impreparado y casi por completo desprevenido, de seres de otro Planeta - conmoción que, por si sola, podría ser causa de peores males que cuantos pudieran hacernos los "invasores" - urge emprender, paralelamente a un extenso programa de investigación, una campaña de divulgación general que exponga en forma realista la verdad del evento frente al cual nos hallamos y los formidables acontecimientos que cualquier día podría verse obligada a afrontar la humanidad terrestre. Considerando como un deber colaborar en ella - o iniciarla, si nadie la hiciera - afirmamos en público como resumen de nuestros puntos de vista:
QUE naves procedentes del espacio exterior están llegando a la Tierra a ritmo sin cesar creciente desde el año 1946. A teniéndonos a las cifras mínimas de las observaciones seguras pueden cifrarse en 200 los raids observados en el bienio 1946-47, 400 en 1948-49, 500 en 1950-51, 900 en 1952-53, 1000 en 1954-55, 1100 en 1956-57.
QUE el ritmo comprobado de las apariciones permite señalar como probable punto de su origen al planeta Marte, contando como apoyos en sus operaciones de ciertas bases en determinadas regiones de la Luna. Además, parecen existir otras avanzadas particularmente una central girando a nuestro alrededor en órbitas satélites.
QUE sus raids los iniciaron hace muchos siglos, tantos que al remontar hacia sus comienzos tropezamos con el principio mismo de la Historia humana. Sin embargo su actividad nunca fué tan intensa y sostenida como en la actualidad, como si nos estuviéramos acercando a la culminación y desenlace de una metódica y larga táctica de exploración y vigilancia. A un que durante largo tiempo hayamos tenido pegadas a nuestro flanco misteriosas astronaves sin mostrar que sepamos ninguna intención de intervenir en el curso de la vida terrestre, ésto no garantiza en lo más mínimo que su abstención vaya a ser indefinida: sólo indica que están esperando su hora con paciencia infinita.

QUE nada significa tampoco, a los efectos de su problemática actitud respecto a nosotros, el que hasta ahora no hayan llevado a cabo ninguna acción declaradamente hostil; pues, en contrapartida, tampoco hemos recibido de "ellos" la menor prueba de amistad. En este terreno todo es inseguro y cualquier hipótesis que se haga en torno de sus planes y propósitos habrá de ser muy arriesgada porque es imposible adivinar cual es la lógica por la que gobiernen sus actos unas mentes que quizá funcionen de un modo muy diferente a la nuestra. Lo único cierto es que esas mentes existen rondando las fronteras de la Tierra y nos vigilan.
Son tantos y tan insólitos los problemas que esa extraña y tenaz presencia nos plantea que nadie puede ser tan osado como para pretender resolverlos por sí solo. Es tarea de muchos y de mucho tiempo, quizás tanto, que no sea nuestra generación la que vea resuelto el enigma. Conscientes de su alcance y complejidad. hemos decidido salir del círculo privado donde hasta ahora se han desarrollado nuestras investigaciones para hacer un llamamiento a todos, solicitando ayuda. Desde hace varios años estamos en contacto con diversos Centros de investigación extranjeros - el "C. I. E. O." de Francia, "C. .I. R. N. O. S." de Italia, etc. -, similares al que hoy inauguramos en nuestro país. contactos que, a partir de ahora, intensificaremos en nombre colectivo, haciéndolos más fructíferos. Pero ésto sólo no es suficiente. Necesitamos información DIRECTA; por eso ahora, desde aquí haciendo lo que ellos hicieron y confiando en igual éxito rogamos a todos cuantos fueren testigos de cualquier aparición aérea no identificable o bien de cualquier fenómeno u objeto anormal, nos lo comuniquen - tanto compartan nuestras opiniones como si no; lo mismo si están interesados en nuestras investigaciones como si les son indiferentes - con la mayor fidelidad, rapidez y detalle posible, respondiendo al adjunto facsímil de nuestro Formulario de Encuesta.
La "Interplanetaria" nace en las primeras horas del alba de una nueva Era, cuando por doquier reina todavía la obscuridad y todo es confusión, para servir de atalaya acaso también algún día de castillo desde donde descubrir las primeras luces de un inédito amanecer que mil síntomas anuncian ya como inminente; un amanecer tan extraño que, en lugar de romper por el oriente, esta vez va a caernos de lo alto del cielo, traído por "ellos" y sus fantasmales naves. Vigilarlas e intentar conocer cuanto sea cognoscible de su existencia y de la razón que las trajo, son nuestros propósitos, tarea que compartiremos, agradecidos, con cuantos quienes offre cernos su colaboración asociada. Propósitos cuyo objetivo final es descubrir y hacer saber a todos cómo y según cuál táctica habremos de afrontar los extraordinario acontecimientos que se precipitarán el día en que esas naves decidan abandonar sus nidos en. el espacio para intervenir abiertamente en el curso de nuestra Historia, lanzándola a una crisis sin precedentes y de inmensas consecuencias.

Rogamos a quienquiera sea testigo de la aparicion de algún "objeto volante no identificable" o cualquier manifestación inexplicable, informe al "CENTRO DE ESTUDIOS INTERPLANETARIOS", respondiendo a las cuestiones que a continuación se detallan y enviándolo al Apartado de Correos núm. 1015, Barcelona, o bien llame a nuestros teléfonos, números 28 56 36 y 37 53 83.
1.° Lugar, día y hora de la observación.
2.° Número de testigos (cítese nombre y señas de alguno).
3.° Estado del cielo y visibilidad.
4.° Posición del Sol y de la Luna respecto al objeto observado.
5.° Elevación sobre el horizonte y dirección al aparerecer y desaparecer.
6.° Altitud y velocidad estimada (comparada con la normal de aviones).
7.° Número de objetos y maniobras que realizaron (cambios de rumbo, velocidad o altura. Inmovilizaciones, aterrizajes, etc.).
8.° Tiempo que duró la observación y ángulo que recorrió el objeto.
9.° Forma y aspecto general del objeto (metálico, sólido, indefinido, etc.).
10.° Dimensiones (comparadas con las del disco lunar).
11.° Color y brillo (indíquese si variaba).
12.° Forma, longitud, color, brillo y cambios de la estela, si la hubo.
13.° ¿Se observaron a su paso perturbaciones en el funcionamiento de algún aparato eléctrico? (radios, luces, motores, etc.).
14.° ¿Se observaron perturbaciones magnéticas (en brújulas).
15.° ¿Dejó algún rastro material de su paso o produjo alguna huella?
16.° Descripción detallada de todas las circunstancias en que se desarrolló el suceso. Inclúyase un ligero dibujo del objeto.
Nombre, señas, profesión del comunicante, indicando si autoriza una eventual publicidad de su informe y, caso afirmativo, si autoriza que se cite su nombre. Garantizamos absoluta reserva, si así lo desea.
