"Starlink" is a satellite Internet access program by the American aerospace manufacturer "SpaceX" (Elon Musk) based on the deployment of a constellation of several thousand telecommunications satellites placed in low earth orbit.
The first launches took place in June 2019. As of March 2021, 1385 satellites were in orbit.
The small satellites, after their launch, appear as a line of small luminous dots. As it is unlike anything one would have normally seen in the sky, each launch prompted sighting reports, with witnesses wondering what it could be. Over time, the show no longer surprises many people.
Below: sample video frames of "Starlink" satellites in the sky.
