ALSACAT-2015-07-14-ERGERSHEIM-1
"Lixa" reported her observation made with another person, to the UFO website "OVNI France."
She says that on Friday night, July 14, 2015, in Ergersheim, she observed a luminous dot very high in the sky, which "lighted and went off in 2 seconds approximately, progressively, the light was very intense."
"From this spot appeared two other dots identical to the passage of two satellites spaced by 50 cm as seen from the ground. These two little dots disappeared after about 10 seconds, I think it is weird because when the sky is clear a satellite does not disappear like this, these two dots were in the continuation of the panhandle of the Big Dipper."
The observation took place at 11:45 p.m. and lasted about 20 minutes.

Description of the facts:
Hello
I observed Friday night a luminous dot very high in the sky, this dot lighted and went off in about 2 seconds, progressively, the light was very intense, from this spot appeared two other dots identical to the passage of two satellites spaced of 50 cm as seen from the ground. These two little dots disappeared after about 10 seconds, weird I think because when the sky is clear a satellite does not disappear like that, these two spots were in the continuation of the panhandle of the big dipper.
Thank you
Lixa
So we have luminous dots in the sky comparable to passages of satellites but they "disappear", which the witness thinks to be the reason why they cannot be satellites.
But I'm not convinced. Satellites can reflect the sunlight - this is what makes them visible - for a time, and no longer reflect it at another time. This gives the impression that they "disappear". The end of their reflection of sunlight can be caused by their passage into the shadow of the earth for example.
This leaves us with observations of low strangeness ...
Possible satellites.
