ALSACAT-2014-12-22-BATZEMFORF-1
An 18-year-old young man from Batzendorf in the Bas-Rhin, who describes himself as having the hobby of "observing UFOs", regularly sends his observations of what he considers to be UFOs to the ufology web board "Les Mystères des OVNI" ("The UFO mysteries").
Thus, on December 25, 2017, he wrote to have experienced his second UFO sighting, that of "parallel flashing luminous balls", making no noise, of "yellow/white" color, on December 22, 2014 at 10:45 p.m.
He wrote that he was star gazing and being thoughtful, then saw "appear before my eyes, a luminous formation in the form of a rhombus, I could not really distinguish its contours, but I estimate its size at more than 1 meters." He estimates the altitude at more than 100 meters and the distance at about 2 km. He wrote that the luminous object moved in straight line, with a trajectory of the North-East at 20° to the northwest at 20°.
He told he was the only witness, that he did not file an official report, that the sky was cloudy.
He told that the sighting lasted 4 minutes, ending at 10:49 p.m.: which would be the jour of the photograph he took. On web board, an observation analyst said he asked him twice to communicate the photo he told of, but there has never been an answer.

This second story by this witness (and there will be more) can have several trivial explanations, such as that of Chinese lanterns, LED balloons, an airplane or a formation of planes or helicopters, even headlights of distant cars. The testimony is not precise enough, the photo was not provided, the sizes, distances and elevations are rather useless estimates, it would have been fit to communicate this data in angular values.
Week later, the same witness reported even more poorly another sighting he claimed to have been one day before this one...
Totally insufficient information, no strangeness.
