ALSACAT-2013-10-19-ERSTEIN-1
After a week, an anonymous person filed a report story on a "UFO" website, about an observation on October 19, 2013, in the early afternoon, maybe around 01:30 p.m., of a "metallic gray flying saucer in the distance" seen for one minute through the window of the bedroom in Erstein.
This person was watching the series "The Walking Dead" season 2 on his computer when suddenly something at the east window caught his attention. He looked and observed, in the sky, what looked like a gray metallic saucer that was moving southwest silently and leaving no trail.
Everything happened very quickly, the witness went away to get his cell phone and binoculars to photograph and observe the object, but it was already gone without a trace in the sky.
A little bit later, there were only a plane heading for the same direction.
The witness explained that having no proof of what he says, he preferred not to talk about it to anyone for fear of ridicule, until he found the website where "you do not need proof to testify."

Hello, what hapened to me ocured one week ago. it ocured on saturday october 19 2013 in the beginning ot the afternoon, i do not know exactly at what time, id say a little before 2 p.m., i dont know anymore.I was in my bedroom all alone quietly watching the walking dead season 2 on the computer when sudenly something behind the window directed east caut my attention. I look and i observe in the distance in the sky a what resembled a grey metallic saucer moving towards the south-west without making noise and leaving no trail, everything hapened very fast. I then went to get my binoculars and my cellphone to take pictures and observe but the object had already disapeard without leaving any trace in the sky and a little later there was only a plane that moved to the same direction. But having no proof of what 'm telling i perferd keeping it for myself and not tell it to anyone for fear of being scofed at. Until i discovered this website where one does not need proof to testify.

The sighting would have deserved an investigation, but it apparently hasn't interested anyone.
Angular size, angular velocity, elevation, etc. would have helped.
There is of course the possibilities that this was some plane, maybe some unusual plane, or some helicopter, or even a mylar party balloon pushed by some wind.
Maybe it was a "true UFO". We will probably never know.
