ALSACAT is my comprehensive catalog of UFO sighting reports in Alsace, the region is the North-East of France, whether they are "explained" or "unexplained".

The ALSACAT catalog is made of case files with a case number, summary, quantitative information (date, location, number of witnesses...), classifications, all sources mentioning the case with their references, a discussion of the case in order to evaluate its causes, and a history of the changes made to the file. Summary:

In the rue des roses in Raedersheim, on August 7, 2010, there was a new Neighbours Day. Around 10:40 (datime or nightime not specified), these people were able to attend a "unique experience, the passage of a UFO just above the party"; which left an "unforgettable memory."

The thing moved for 2 minutes in the deepest silence, under the rare clouds.

But the next day, the partying neighbors had discovered that in the same village, at another neighbours party, a Chinese lantern has been released.

Neighbours Day 2010

Once again a Neighbours Day party! Out of the ordinary!

And because there is no impediment to good neighborly agreement nor date of obligatory festivities, it is in the rue des roses that a new Neighbours Day took place this August 7th. Best of all, about 10:40, the happy team was able to attend, unique experience, the passage of a UFO just above the party. Unforgettable.

The mystery seems cleared up!

Meanwhile, during another party (neighbors?) in the village a few blocks away, a strange custom from Asia was launched. A "Chinese Lantern" wandered in the sky with the hopes and best wishes of the guests. The Chinese lantern paraded through the sky of Raedersheim pushed by the breeze. The questioning of what was yesterday still a UFO appears lifted, even if the lights do not match perfectly. Pity perhaps.

Discussion:

Case cleared, so. To note that the location on the map is in error, the "rue des roses" is the next one further to the exit of the village.
