ALSACAT is my comprehensive catalog of UFO sighting reports in Alsace, the region is the North-East of France, whether they are "explained" or "unexplained".

The ALSACAT catalog is made of case files with a case number, summary, quantitative information (date, location, number of witnesses...), classifications, all sources mentioning the case with their references, a discussion of the case in order to evaluate its causes, and a history of the changes made to the file. Summary:

On July 24, 2010, on a local UFO blog, someone anonymously claimed to have seen on July 20, 2010, at 09:55 p.m. an objects flying at rooftops level in Mulhouse.

He says it was about 15 meters above thr ground or the rooftops and about 80 meters away from him.

He said the object was moving from the Mertzau toward the Illberg and that the object looked like a mushroom and deployed its top.

He asks if anyone else had seen it.

on july20 at about 09:55 observd an objet shaving the rooftops in mulhouse

altitude about 15m and distance from me about 80m

moving from the mertzau to the illberg are there other observations of this object looking like a mushroom and spreadign the higher part!

Discussion:

Was it luminous or not? What color was it? Was it silent or noisy? How long was it seen? How fast did it fly? What was the angular size? Was it 15 meters above the ground or 15 meters above the rooftops? How old is the witness? Where was he?

Even this basic information is missing; and the credibility of this report of apparent high strangeness is of course unknown, This is only an anonymous post to a blog.

Lastly, this being of little use since the position of the witness was not reported, here are the Mertzau and Illberg in Mulhouse, places distant of about 3 kilometers:
