[Ref. pja1:] SITE WEB "PGJ ASTRONOMIE":
On January 21, 2004, a meteor had flown over Belgium, and exploded over Mainz, Germany.
January 21 at 5:33 UT throughout Belgium with the exception of East Flanders, west of West Flanders and Hainaut, these regions being under the clouds.
The trajectory of the object passes over Aalst between Brussels and Halle towards Wavre, as well as over the Ardennes in the irection of Luxembourg and Germany. There remains some uncertainty regarding the final part of the path.
The fireball, probably a meteoride of twenty centimeters in diameter, disintegrated in the atmosphere over Germany, causing an intense flash of light reported by many witnesses who shared their observations with country police services.
