Sophie, of Strasbourg , reported by email to the Swiss ufology group GREPI that on August 15 "this year", a date that will always remain in her memory, she saw a very strange phenomenon, and she admits that it gave her the chills.
She was with a group of friends at the edge of some water - the location is not indicated - chatting. when all of a sudden, they saw a UFO appear, whose size she cannot tell but compares to "the size of a plate".
It made no sound, and this was what scared her the most.
It was of a metallic gray color with kinds of golden lights all around.
She says she never really "believed in UFOs" before, but that since that night, she does not look at the sky in the same way.

This all happened on August 15 of this year (2003? - GREPI) (this date will always remain in my memory I think) a very very strange phenomenon I have to say that makes my spine chill.
I was with a group of friends at the waterfront talking and all of a sudden a UFO emerged... (that's how they call this sort of thing). It was the size ... I do not really know !! from where it was it was the size of a plate, there was no noise and I think that's mostly that that scared me the most. There was of metallic gray color with kinds of golden lights all around.
I must say that I never really believed in UFOs but since that night, I do not look at the sky in the same way. Believe me or not, but this is what I experienced. August 15 is a really special day for me !!!!

Here we see the limits of just collecting testimonies by the Web: no clear date - the day and month seem clear, but the year is not; no location, one can only assume that it was perhaps in the Bas-Rhine, possibly in Strasbourg or in the area of Strasbourg; we do not know if it was by day or by night. It could have been in England on August 15, 1965...
And of course, no duration, no direction, no elevation, no angular size, no clear description, no sketch, etc.
It's really a shame, as there might have been a high strangeness case with multiple witnesses here...
