ALSACAT-1978-03-00-DIDENHEIM-1
In the 1970s, Mrs. Gueudelot, archivist for the ufology magazine Lumières Dans La Nuit, compiled case files. One of the cases came from Denis Graff, a correspondent ufologist for the magazine, and concerned a sighting on a Saturday in March 1978 between 9:15 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. in Didenheim.
There were four witnesses, aged 8 to 14, who asked to remain anonymous.
The four young witnesses were playing with a ball when one of them pointed out an object "red-yellow in color," which, after following a horizontal trajectory, seemed to descend diagonally at a faster speed. The witnesses were intrigued, discussed it among themselves, and continued observing the phenomenon for a few more seconds.
They also reported seeing yellow beams rising into the sky, clearly intersecting.
The phenomenon was in the direction from southwest to southeast.
Denis Graff noted that he was only able to interview one of the witnesses, aged 13, whom he believed to be sincere. The witness told him he had seen the ovoid-shaped UFO "from quite far away" and "not very high," but was unable to estimate the distance, altitude, or size of the UFO.

MARCH 1978.-
(a Saturday)
DIDENHEIM. - (68)
Time: between 8:15 p.m. and 9 p.m.
WITNESSES numbering four, aged 8 to 14 (expressed anonymity).
THE FACTS: The 4 witnesses were playing ball when one of them reported the presence of an object. The latter of red-yellow color, after having followed a horizontal trajectory, seems to descend diagonally at a faster speed. The witnesses were intrigued, chatted among themselves before continuing the observation for a few more seconds.
They were also able to observe yellow rays rising towards the sky intersecting clearly.
DIRECTION OF THE UFO: SOUTHWEST - SOUTHEAST.
NOTES: I only interviewed one witness. This 13-year-old told me that he had seen the ovoid-shaped UFO "quite far away" and "not very high" but he was unable to estimate the distance and altitude as well as the dimensions of the UFO. The passage of the object was silent. I believe him to be sincere and I trust him.
INVESTIGATION AND SENDING FROM DENIS GRAFF.

It is difficult for me to form an idea of what was seen, and some information is missing, such as angular size, angular speed, etc.
The absence of a precise date would tend to indicate that the testimony was not collected immediately.
Insufficient information.
