A 1973 catalogue compiled from data of Jean Giraud and Jean Gérard Dohmen, in the ufology magazine INFO-OVNI, indicated that in the Summer of 1954, in Saint-Chabrais in the department of Creuse, near La Ville du Bois, Mr. Lamonnerie saw like a ball of fire, or pink color, of the width of the Moon, that moved very fast in from West to East, without noise.
We are told this comes from a personal investigation and the magazine wonders whether it was a meteor.

Like a ball of fire, or pink color, of the width of the Moon - moved very fast W.E., without noise.
(Pers. investigation) (meteor ?)
Probable meteor.
The lack of a precise date does not help checking for other reports of a meteor that would match.
(These keywords are only to help queries and are not implying anything.)
Saint-Chabrais, Creuse, Lamonnerie, ball, fire, pink, big, fast, move, silent
