In the 2000's, ufologist Luc Chastan indicates on his Website that in the Isère in Saint-Just-de-Claix in October 1954 at an unknown hour, "a farmer plowing using mules observes an object in the shape of a boomerang passing in a line of chestnut trees after having flown in a loop. The object leaves towards St Marcellin."
Chastan said the sources are "Ovni, Premier dossier complet...", the 1979 book by Michel Figuet and Jean-Louis Ruchon - page not indicated: and the ufology magazine Lumières dans la Nuit - issue not indicated.
[Ref. lcn1:] LUC CHASTAN:
Luc Chastan indicates that in the Isère in St Just de Claix in October 1954 at an unknown hour, "a farmer plowing using mules observes an object in the shape of a boomerang passing in a line of chestnut trees after having flown in a loop. The object leaves towards St Marcellin."
The sources are indicated as "Ovni, Premier dossier complet... by Figuet M./ Ruchon J.L. ** Alain Lefeuvre pub. 1979" andt "Lumières dans la Nuit".
I did not find anything about this either in the book by Figuet and Ruchon, nor in Lumières Dans La Nuit - a magazine of which I miss, however, about 20% of the issues published to date.
The information is unfortunately insufficient and the strangeness of the case is very weak.
So it could have been an plane, a helicopter, or the meteor of October 14 or 16, 1954, or whatever.
