Summary:

In a general catalog of sighting reports of the Gironde written by the Bordeaux section of the C.F.R.U., published in the ufology magazine Ouranos in the fourth quarter of 1973, it is said that according to the Sud-Ouest newspaper for October 8, 1954, the following observation occurred:

Before that October 8, 1954, therefore, at 08:30 p.m., in Cissac, Miss Ducasse, Mr. Couty and other witnesses saw a red incandescent disc quite far towards Carcan, in the Southwest. There would have been "several minutes of maneuvers", then a descent towards the horizon, accompanied by a reddish trail.
