Beginning of November, 1954, Bourganeuf, Creuse:

Reference for this case: Beg-Nov-54-Bourganeuf.
Please cite this reference in any correspondence with me regarding this case.

Summary:

In a catalog of observations in the Creuse published in December 1976 in the magazine INFO-OVNIS, it was noted that in November 1954, in the daytime, in Bourganeuf, a group of girls, pupils of the high school, had seen a brilliant round shape, orange in color, which rose in the air and disappeared.

The source is said to be the local newspaper of Bourganeuf Le Chercheur Creusois for Saturday, November 13, 1954.

031 11/../1954, DAY - BOURGANEUF - Witnesses, a group of students (girls) of the High School.

A brilliant round form, orange-colored, rose in the air and disappeared.

(LE CHERCHEUR CREUSOIS, Sat. Nov. 13. 1954)

Note: "H" is y mistype for "11", the month of the sighting. This appears so in the magazine because the previous and next cases are also from the month "11".

Explanations:

Map.

The report is very meager. It could be a misinterpretation, for example, a Chinese lantern. These devices were used at the time, they were, obviously, homemade.

Keywords:

(These keywords are only to help queries and are not implying anything.)

Bourganeuf, Creuse, multiple, anonymous, girls, high school girls, round, shiny, orange, ascent
