Between October 15 and 20, 1954, Briare, Loiret:

Summary:

In his 2014 book on "close encounters of the third kind in France", author Julien Gonzalez indicated that Le Journal du Centre, of Nevers, for October 21, 1954, published such a observation located in Briare, in the Loiret, having taken place between October 15 and 20, 1954, at an unknown hour.

An inhabitant (undoubtedly anonymous) of Briare had claimed to have been photographed by a small being dressed in a white jumpsuit covering him entirely except in front of the eyes protected by "a brown mica." The operation finished, the little man shook the hand of the witness, went towards his saucer posed 50 meters away in a field and in front of which was a second being. They then "entered the craft which immediately took off and disappeared."

Julien Gonzalez added that the journalist who reported this in an ironic and mocking article, said he had heard the story of this witness on the radio the night before.

He pointed out that there is no trace of this observation in the Loiret press despite extensive research in the archives of La République du Centre and Le Journal de Gien.

[Ref. jqy1:] JEAN DE QUERCY:

45/05 - 1954 October 20 - Briare

A resident of Briare claims to have seen a small "being", dressed entirely in a white jumpsuit, who was photographing him. Once the photo was taken, the "being" shook his hand and walked towards a saucer-shaped craft, placed 50 m away in a field, and in front of which a second character was waiting. The craft disappeared as soon as the first entity was inside.
