The regional newspaper Libre Artois, of Arras, published on page 1 for October 20, 1954, a photograph by one of their readers, "where a 'saucer' graciously moves, presenting a pleasant familiar look of a pressure cooker."
[Ref. lar1:] NEWSPAPER "LIBRE ARTOIS":
In these very Martian times dedicated to cigars, saucers and other flying machines, it was good for Arras to be distinguished in this matter. This was estimated by one of our readers who, cleverly, gave us this photo where a "saucer" graciously moves, showing a pleasant little family resemblance with a pressure cooker. A good montage (photographic and neck...)
Obviously, this is a "negative case", a case explained immediately, that did not need any particular investigation or research.
The only thing we do not know is whether the reader author of the photo-montage intended to deceive anyone or whether he himslef presented his photo from the start as just an amusement.
