Summary:

The ufology magazine Lumières Dans La Nuit #291-292 of September / October 1988 indicates that at the end of August 1954 Mr. Bourvallet was camping alone on the moor of Britany close to Quimperlé. At the fall of the night, he heard a rumble very similar to the sound of a large motorbike.

He turned his eyes towards the very near road, but did not see any vehicle. He turned towards his car, and saw a ball of orange color in the sky, which roughly moved from the north towards the south, or from the north-west towards south-east.

Ten or fifteen minutes later, the same rumble resounded, and this time he saw a purple ball which passed in the same direction.

After a time of the same order, he again saw a ball passing, with still the same sound, but of green color.

The magazine notes that this testimony was collected on January 19, 1971, and that thirteen months earlier, the witness telling his observation by telephone had indicated as colors for the three balls, respectively red, orange, purple.

Swarms of UFOs.

By the last days of August Europe was swarming with UFOs if we can believe reports from Villacoublay, Brittany, Anger, Amiens, Lyon, and the Paris region of France; Munich and Berlin in Germany; Innsbruck in Austria; Trieste in Italy; and Stone and Stafford in England; to name a few. The visitation at Villacoublay on the 29th was seen and reported by military and technical personnel stationed at the French air base located in the vicinity. 214.

Explanations:

Map.

It could have been a helicopter, were it not for the odd colors of the light, and the fact that it was a different color at each pass.

The testimony is, however, late, noted but obviously without investigation or verification; an "unidentified" of poor quality, therefore.
