In his book "Les Apparitions d'Ovnis: Les dossiers non classés", in 2016, ufologist Joël Mesnard indicates that ufologist Jean-Marie Bigorne recorded a testimony of a close encounter of the third kind having taken place in Hon-Hergies at the end of August 1954.
