Summary:

In the 1990s, ufologist and author Jean Sider indicated that according to an article in the newspaper Le Courrier de l'Ouest, of Angers, for October 7, 1954, at the beginning of October 1954 in the area of Parthenay at an unspecified time, a truck driver and his traveling companion saw the landing of a luminous disc on a road; which departed on their approach.

In order to avoid questions, the witnesses had only told their story to a few close friends.

French ufologist and author Jean Sider learned in an article from the newspaper Le Courrier de l'Ouest, of Angers, of October 7, 1954, that at the beginning of that week in the sector of Parthenay at an unknown time, a lorry driver and his companion saw the landing of a luminous disc on a road, which left at their approach.

In order to avoid questions, the witnesses had entrusted their story only to some close people.

Luc Chastan indicates that in the Deux Sèvres in Parthenay in October 1954 at an unknown hour "In the first days of the month two witnesses who were in a heavy lorry observed a luminous disc posed on a road which took off upon their approach."
