In the 1950s, Guy Quincy, a French archivist interested in the question of the "mysterious celestial objects", compiled a catalog of sightings in which he noted, without source or details, that there was a sighting of "motionless luminous circles" at the beginning of October 1954 in the morning at Le Mans in the Sarthe.
[Ref. gqy1:] GUY QUINCY:
About October 4 [, 1954]
[... other cases...]
Morning: Le Mans (Sarthe): motionless luminous circles.
[... other cases...]
The information is totally insufficient; if they were not "circles" but rounds, these could have been spotlights on a cloud layer.
(These keywords are only to help queries and are not implying anything.)
Le Mans, Sarthe, circles, luminous, motioless
