The regional newspaper La Voix du Nord, in the Aisne department issue for November 6, 1954, reported observations of "these last days", including an observation by Mr. Léon Collart of the hamlet of Les Rétaux.
[Ref. vdn1:] NEWSPAPER "LA VOIX DU NORD":
It is reported that luminous craft called "flying saucers" have been seen in recent days, crossing the sky of La Capelle, by Mr. Jean Gevel and by MM. Henry and Francis Lenoir, from the hamlet of La Haye Payenne which depends on the municipality of La Flammengrie.
Also, Mrs. Balleux of Fontenelle and Mr. Léon Collart from the hamlet of Les Rétaux also saw, in the morning and in the evening, mysterious craft.
Totally insufficient information.
Nothing is precise here; there is no date, no clear time, no description. I did not find "Les Rétaux" in the Aisne, I found one in the Oise, but this "Les Rétaux" could well be a locality in the Aisne that I did not find.
(These keywords are only to help queries and are not implying anything.)
Les Rétaux, Oise, Léon Collart
