In the 2000's, a US UFO sightings website indicated that on 9 September 1954, in Amiens, France, an "object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft." The website adds that it was seen at close range by one witness.
[Ref. uda1:] "UFODNA" WEBSITE:
The website indicates that on 9 September 1954 in Amiens, France, "An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. An unidentified object at close range was observed by one witness."
The source is noted "Del Valle, Pierre, Pierre Del Valle investigation files, Bordeaux".
Totally insufficient information.
The source noted "Del Valle, Pierre" is obviously "Delval, Pierre", French ufologist member of the group "Ouranos". But I have not found anything for now in in the writings of this ufologist that are available to me.
