Summary:

The regional newspaper Le Populaire du Center, of Limoges, reported on October 13, 1954, that a person had informed them that "last Saturday", therefore on October 9, 1954, at 6:50 p.m., placed at the northern end of the Mas [?] bridge, he or she saw in the sky, to the south, moving from east to west, a succession of appearances: first a luminous dot, then two "mysterious craft", oblong, vertical; after that, again a luminous dot, followed by three "craft" and later by two "craft".

These craft all seemed to shine at the same spot in their trajectory. These appearances lasted more than 5 minutes.

Again a saucer!

We should speak more exactly of five saucers. Indeed, a person tells us that, placed at the north end of the Mas [?] Bridge, last Saturday, at 6:50 p.m., he/she saw in the sky, to the south, moving from east to west, a succession of appearances: first a luminous dot, then two mysterious craft, oblong, vertical; after that, again a luminous dot, followed by three craft and later by two craft. The craft all seemed to shine at the same spot in their trajectory. The apparitions lasted for more than 5 minutes.

Who says better?

Explanations:

Map.

The report does not give enough details for a sure explanation, but it reminds me of aerial military maneuvers.

The shine of objects which is said to occur when they are at a certain same place suggests that this occurred when they were in a place suitable for them to reflect the sun, which suggests metallic craft, such as jet fighter planes, which at the time were mostly unpainted and therefore reflected the sun well.

In any case, there is nothing in the report that would justify a claim the objects were extraterrestrial craft; which neither the newspaper nor the witness do.
