November 7 or 8, 1954, Xousse, Meurthe-et-Moselle:

Summary:

In 1974, the French ufologist Jean Tyrode indicates that in Xousse in the department of the Meurthe-et-Moselle, on November 7 or 8, 1954, at approximately 06:45 p.m., Mr. V. Pornon, school principal and his wife as well as Mr. A. Doyen, the mayor of Xousse, were the witnesses of a UFO sighting:

Mrs. Pornon saw a kind of sphere or an object of circular form which moved in the sky. She alerted the two other witnesses who made the same observation.

The object had initially seemed to approach towards her while coming from the North-East, but she quickly saw that its trajectory was ahead of her and that the object which continued its travel moved away quickly.

The object had an orangeish color and the very clear impression was that it seemed to roll on itself like a ball rolling on the floor would do.

The trajectory was parallel to the Moussey-Leintrey direction and ahead compared to the witnesses. The duration of the observation was 15 seconds.

Luc Chastan indicates that in the Meurthe et Moselle in Xousse on November 8, 1954 at 18:45 hours "a woman observes a kind of sphere moving in the sky and then alerts her husband, schoolmaster and mayor of the village. The object seems to approach, coming from the Northeast, but if fact the trajectory was more remote and the object continues its race, moving away quickly. Its color is orange seeming to roll on itself. Direction parallel with that from Moussey towards Leintrey."
