Summary:

The regional newspaper La Vendée Libre for October 10, 1954, reported that "Wednesday evening" so on October 6, 1954, around 7 p.m., in La Ferrière, "three pupils of our public school and some inhabitants of the borough stated to have observed a flying saucer moving towards the west, at reduced speed. Their attention had been drawn to the sky by the passin of a jet plane. A little later, an oval machine appeared; which moved without noise. The whitish mass had a blue reflection at the front and a kind of red light at the back. The witnesses claim that there cannot be any confusion between this machine and a jet plane."

A mystérieux flying machine

Wednesday evening, towards 7 P.M., three pupils of our public school and some inhabitants of the borough stated to have observed a flying saucer moving towards the west, at reduced speed. Their attention had been drawn to the sky by the passin of a jet plane. A little later, an oval machine appeared; which moved without noise. The whitish mass had a blue reflection at the front and a kind of red light at the back. The witnesses claim that there cannot be any confusion between this machine and a jet plane.

Luc Chastan indicates that in the Vendée in La Ferrière on October 6, 1954 at 19:00 hours, three children and some residents of the borough say they observed an object moving towards the west, at reduced speed. Their attention had been drawn in the sky by the passage of a jet plane. A little later an oval craft appeared, which moved without noise. The whitish mass had a blue reflection with front and a kind of red light at the back. The witnesses claim that there cannot be any confusion between this machine and a jet plane.
