In a catalogue of UFO sightings typewritten in the 11950's, French archivist Quy Quincy noted a case in Dieppe at 06:45 a.m. in January 6, 1954.
Quincy gave no details and no source reference.
[Ref. gqy1:] GUY QUINCY:
January 6, [1954]
06:45 a.m.: Dieppe (Saine-Maritime)
There was a meteor on January 7, 1954, over Dieppe and the entire region; but, the hour was not the same as that given here by Quincy so it looks like this was not a date error by Quincy but a different case. Moreover, Quincy also listed the case of the next day in Dieppe.
However, I found no other source about a case in Dieppe on January 6, 1954.
