According to the ufology magazine Ouranos, New Series #8 of the 3rd quarter of 1973, on November 5, 1954, at 8:40 p.m. in Moulins, Mr. Georges Biquet observed a luminous ball which crossed the sky above the Cours Jean-Jaurès in a north-south trajectory, letting a shower of sparks fall in its wake. According to some other witnesses, it was in a fast movement of rotation. The source was given as La Montagne, Aurillac issue for November 8, 1954.
According to the ufology magazine Lumières Dans La Nuit #125 of May 1973, on November 5, 1954 at 8:40 p.m. in Moulins, an object similar to the one seen 10 minutes earlier by M. Aubert in Chanat in the Puy-de-Dôme, which would give it the size of a plate, tinged with light yellow, and a trajectory from South to North, was seen in Moulins.
According to #128 of October 1973 of the same magazine, on November 5, 1954 at 8:40 p.m., according to La Montagne for November 6, 1954 this time, in Moulins, Mr. Biquet saw a ball of blue-green light, having a rotational motion, followed by sparks, moving rapidly on a south - north trajectory.
The magazine made a connection with other similar sightings at the same time but did not seem to have understood that the description was that of a meteor.
