Summary:

The newspaper La Voix du Nord, in its local Cambrai issue for October 6, 1954, reported that on October 4, 1954, around 11:45 p.m., three young people from Saulzoir were returning by bike from the cinema de Villers-en-Cauchiers, when between Villers-en-Cauchiers and Saulzoir, they saw at about 15 meters from the road, posed in a pasture, a mass of aluminum color surrounded by two very bright blue-green bands. The object could have been 1.50 to 2 meters wide by 1 meter to 1.50 meters high.

Suddenly frightened, they went away, so they were unable to give more details on the craft.

They did stop a little further away, but saw nothing more, either because the object had disappeared or it was hidden by the ground or the trees bordering the road.

The brother of one of the young people who passed by there about a quarter of an hour later had seen nothing.

The newspaper stated: "the good faith of the young people seems beyond doubt."

THE CHRONICLE
OF THE SAUCERS
(Continued)

On the road
of Saulzoir
to Villers-en-Cauchies

Monday, around 11:45 p.m., three young people from Saulzoir were returning by bike from the cinema of Villers-en-Cauchiers, Cauchies.

Between Villers and Saulzoir, they saw, about fifteen meters from the road, placed in a pasture, a mass of aluminum color surrounded by two very bright blue-green bands. The object may have been 1.50 m. to 2 m. wide by 1 m. to 1.50 m. tall.

Seized with a sudden fright, the young people pedaled more vigorously and could not give more details on the craft. A little further, however, they stopped, but saw nothing, either that the object had disappeared, or that it was hidden by an accident of the ground or the trees which border the road.

The brother of one of the young people who passed about a quarter of an hour on the same route later saw nothing.

Note that the good faith of young people seems beyond doubt.
