In the 1950s, a French archivist, Guy Quincy, interested in the "mysterious celestial objects", compiled a rudimentary catalog of observations; he noted that on December 4, 1954, at 3:00 p.m., there had been an observation at La Celle-Saint-Cyr in the Yonne department.
Quincy did not give any sources or any other information about this.
