The regional newspaper Le Républicain Lorrain, of Nancy, for October 5, 1954, reported on page 6 that "on Sunday", therefore on October 3, 1954, many people saw in the sky of Nancy mysterious red and blue craft moving from east to west: "At an apparent altitude of 3000 meters, these spheres were flying at quite a brisk pace, without the slightest noise."
From the Brabois district, the "flying saucers" were observed by the many walkers who climbed the coast to get to Notre-Dame des Pauvres, the newspaper said.
The article may have said more, I only have the beginning. And it seems that the case was never mentioned in the ufological literature.

At a presumed altitude of 3000 meters, these spheres flew at a fairly high speed, without the slightest noise.
