The regional newspaper La Voix du Nord, in the local issue of Dunkirk for November 7, 1954, briefly mentioned observations in Zeggerscappel by "various trustworthy people" who had seen luminous craft moving in the sky, in the evening, including "Wednesday" so on November 3, 1954.
The newspaper only told that "these apparitions, which changed color, disappeared towards the West."
